Our next Company Visit brought students to Tive, where they explored the world of supply chain visibility and shipment monitoring through real-world examples and hands-on insights. Students met the Kosovo-based Tive team of software engineers, sales specialists, customer support, and other professionals who work together on a global product.

Astrit Leti welcomed the students and shared Tive’s journey and real-life cases from the company’s work with smart shipment trackers. Students learned how Tive helps companies monitor shipments in real time, prevent losses, and improve decision-making across global supply chains. Seeing actual use cases and how trackers are designed and used made the industry tangible and easy to understand.

Tive was founded by Krenar Komoni, an Albanian entrepreneur in the United States, with much of the team later established in Kosovo. This showed students how global companies can build strong, high-impact teams locally while serving international markets.

Throughout the visit, students had open conversations with team members, who shared practical advice on recruitment, job market positioning, and how to stand out as candidates. The visit also offered a close look at Tive’s work environment, team culture, and daily operations, giving students a realistic picture of what it means to build a career in a global tech company while working from Kosovo.
